These terms and conditions define our service and your rights to use it. They are a mandatory requirement for the use of our SongBook Cloud service and you can not use the service unless you agree to these terms and conditions.
SongBook is a software that supports your live performances and rehearsals. For detailed information on the scope and capabilities of SongBook please refer to the SongBook manuals.
SongBook offers a Cloud option that you can use to store your songs, playlists and other files for use in SongBook.
If you make use of this offer SongBook creates a cloud storage account for you with login details of your choosing. Any files you use in SongBook will be synchronized with your Cloud storage. This is your personalized cloud storage in SongBook and you may only use it for the files you use in SongBook. Any other use of this cloud storage is not allowed and we will lock and terminate your SongBook cloud storage in case of any misuse. Obviously, you are not allowed to store anything that is or could be considered illegal.
As this is your personal SongBook cloud storage you are not allowed to share the login details with anyone and we will take the appropriate actions in case of any misuse. If you have reason to believe someone else has access to your SongBook account, please let us know immediately and we will take any action necessary to end such unauthorized access.
To reset your account password, log out of your account, then select Forgot Password on the login page.
You can share one or more folders (categories) in your Cloud storage with other SongBook Cloud users, either as full access (others can make changes) or read-only access (only you can make changes). Please note that only Cloud users can access shared folders, i.e. they need to have a SongBook cloud subscription. When you share a folder with another user, they'll get a pending share notice in SongBook. They can choose to accept your shared folder or reject it. Once they accept the share, SongBook will sync everything in that folder to their device and any changes to that folder henceforth will also be synced. You can stop sharing the folder anytime, but they may still have a local copy of the files on their device.
Your files are yours. We at LinkeSOFT don’t claim ownership of or any other rights to any songs or files you upload. We don’t take notice of your stored files or use them in any way, except when required to keep the system running properly, to enforce these terms, or if asked by law enforcement authorities.
Your account data in our database contains your email and your name (or the name that you choose). We use this information only to provide the service and communicate with you. Of course, we do not sell or make available your personal information to others.
We provide the SongBook cloud storage „as is“, without warranties and/or guaranties. We are not responsible for lost, corrupted or otherwise inaccessible files or folders in your SongBook cloud storage. Backups and safeguards against such occurrences are solely your responsibility.
We are also not responsible for connectivity issues between the SongBook cloud storage and your device. If access to your SongBook cloud storage is impaired and your login details are correct, check the settings in your device. Please also make sure that you use the most recent SongBook update.
We reserve the right to suspend, limit, terminate or cancel the SongBook cloud storage option at any time, (with or without notice). We will do so in particular in case of misuse of our service.
These SongBook cloud storage Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Your continued use of the SongBook cloud storage implies your agreement to the most recent version of these Terms of Service. Otherwise, you are not allowed to use the SongBook cloud storage option further. The most recent version of our Terms of Service is always provided in your account.
