Tips For Switching from Palm To Pocket PC

Please install AutoMobile! Pocket PC our download page. Make sure you have a current backup of your Palm data (directory ...\palm\<user>\backup).

1. Copy the file AutoMobile<car name>.pdb from the Palm backup directory to your Pocket PC into directory \My Documents
2. Start AutoMobile and select File - Import (Type: AutoMobile Palm Files *.pdb).
3. After the import, the new car data will be available under <car name> in the car selection pulldown.
4. Repeat the above for all your cars
5. All your entries, recurring costs, reminders are then also available in AutoMobile on your Pocket PC.
